We Excavate is a midi concept album by DJay32 and Lindsay Taylor, released on December 17th 2020 for free listening on YouTube and free download on Google Drive and Bandcamp. Purportedly the third release by fictional progressive rock band Sunsetters, this is a nine-track album depicting a voyage to the bottom of the sea, encountering some threatening and mysterious beings on the way. The music, written in MuseScore over several years, continues the style established on previous albums by using soundfonts to emulate a five-piece rock act, though more emphasis is given to synthesizers this time.
