Jäger is a mysterious creature in the We The Afflicted universe whose only goal is to hunt down and destroy everything in existence, especially The Afflicted. It debuted in the short story A Conversation Between Trees.

Jäger looks vaguely human, with scraggly hair and glowing red eyes with black scleras that never blink. Its fingers are blade-like talons and are incredibly strong. It can appear as a man, woman, child, and elderly person- either all at once, or none at all. Its has a maw like mouth, filled with row upon row of sharp fangs. It has hair that stands out in antennae-like feelers, similar to whiskers on a cat.
