Monuments are areas in our dimension that draw in creatures from other dimensions, mainly Lepers. They are focal points where space and time are at its weakest and the bridge between other dimensions is at its strongest. Monuments are naturally made, as opposed to Venters, which are man-made portals to the other dimensions.
