Tav Lowe is the main character of the blog brighter than a spoon. He begins his blog as a place to post his poetry, but quickly gets caught up with a box meant for the Slender Man. He then meets SMSC Agents Liza Jane and Aladdin Sane, and befriends Agnes Day. At the end of his blog, he decides to start running with Agnes.
