The Crumbling Castle is the domain of The Plague Doctor.

It appears to be a massive castle, filled with endless hallways and countless rooms. The style of its architecture shifts depending on where one is. Its walls are constantly crumbling away, revealing warm, throbbing flesh underneath.

Those who enter the Castle usually come out alive, although there is no known case of someone coming back without some sort of terminal disease.

A Quote

"...I was there. In a stone hallway that seemed to be endless. It had a constant reek of decaying flesh. The walls seemed to beat as if they were alive. Bum-Bump...Bum-Bump. Every beat seemed to knock the wind out of me. I was constantly gasping for air, never getting enough. Each step I took seemed to weigh me down more and more. My bones were starting to cripple.

There were rooms with no entrance or escape...only windows so whoever may be so foolish to look inside may catch a glimpse of the horror of what was happening. There were people inside. Some were moaning...most were screaming. Some were sitting there aimlessly looking through the window. Others were violently vomiting upon themselves. A few had boils. Some were burnt to a crisp.

Something was driving me to continue forward. To continue to put myself through this torture.

I wanted to survive.

I was being chased. I had to keep going. I knew they would catch me if I did not. I could hear their footsteps...their coats sliding on the ground...the sound of their scribbling on notepads...studying me as if I was some experiment.

I could move no longer. It was time. Time for my death. My body hit the ground. I could hear the floor...it was breathing...as if it was alive. They gathered in a circle around me. I could not see their faces though I knew they we're disappointed. Their little lab rat has not finished the maze..."
