The Grove of Fetters is the domain of The Brute. It appears as a normal grove, except that it is covered in fetters hanging from bare tree branches. The entire area is covered in a weak smoky haze, with the grass and ground usually being scorched and burnt. There is also the constant sound of war drums that grows louder as the Brute gets closer. If the Brute arrives, the smoke will get thicker and the Grove will be surrounded by a circle of fire that stops passage in or out of it.
In The Somniverse, the Grove of Fetters fused with Earth and became a physical location in Europe as a side effect of various magical rituals performed by the Semnones tribe centuries ago. However, the Grove lost most of its more supernatural properties after the Brute went dormant.
