The Seven Deadly Sins are beings that appear in the ARG The Crucible. They seem to have been created potentially in the presence of The Slender Man, and are born of mortal humans. The seem to represent the seven deadly sins, hence their name.

Gorger arose on the night of the full moon from a ritual from a Necronomicon. Prior to this, Gorger was Trickster, an entity within David, Dante's Twin Brother.
Upon rising, Gorger threatened players, Sam in particular. Mennos and Tiro intervened and are now pledged in some way to Gorger.

First harrowed by RedRage and dragged into The Empty City, Pseud emerged as Blackmuse. After Kirsten told him what had happened to him, Pseudomuse resurfaced and seemed to be in control. Blackmuse resurfaced, and soon after the Duke created a tumblr. Then the Duke was confirmed as Blackmuse.
Pseudomuse continues to act, though it is implied that the Duke permits this and Pseudomuse has no real control.

When the Duke sought a Concubine, he was going to claim an innocent life. To prevent this, and out of love for Pseudomuse, Cruser/Katie volunteered to take the potential victim's place. As The Sin of Envy, she is deeply connected to Muse and defensive of him.

Awakened by the Full Moon, first appearing as Crucible, and then as Civil, Beast is part of CRUX's subconscious. Beast has implied that he has been within CRUX for all his life, and that it is fated that things go as they have thus far.
He has expressed some interest in the player Kirsten.
Without the light of the full moon, Beast is no longer consciously active and in control of CRUX. How long this will last is unknown.

DEAN took a trip to the Empty City, where he hoped to gain some power of his own to use. He most likely looked into the TREE, the details are at this moment unknown, but there he struck a deal with Damocles. He has been inhabiting DEAN since.
The other Sins, especially Gorger, have exhibited great distrust for Damocles. They claim that last time, he tried to overtake them, and it took the combined efforts of the rest of the Sins to entrap him. They also warn that he lies frequently about his goal and will say whatever he needs to to get followers on his side.
