The Vault of Heaven is the domain of the Convocation in The Endless Autumn, as opposed to the Bleak Shore depicted in most Fearblogs. The Vault of Heaven is a place impossibly far above the earth where the Convocation sometimes takes its Nests, cities of floating stone surrounded by storm clouds. The Vault of Heaven is so far above the world that the sun itself cannot reach it, lightning alone illuminating it.
